Brendan Elliott has been married to the love of his life, Kristy, since 2002. Together they have three wonderful girls.
Brendan has been involved in Christian ministry for over 25 years, serving in both volunteer and paid positions within church and para-church organisations. He was the senior pastor of C3 Church Thirroul for over 6 years after serving that church community as a youth, young adults and associate pastors for many years. He is currently the Australian Ambassador for Wild At Heart ministries, a role that sees him equipping, encouraging and championing men to see their hearts restored in Jesus.
Through the many years and varied roles he has held, Brendan has experience both full time and bi-vocational ministry. He has a unique insight into the pressures that both exhert.
A gifted preacher and teacher, Brendan’s extensive experience in communicating God’s Word has seen him speak in churches, conferences and training sessions across the globe.
In 2019, Brendan completed a MA in Leadership with the Australian College of Christian Studies, providing further understanding and formal qualifications to his over 20 years of leadership experience.
Brendan is currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Psychology with the University of new England.
He is also a qualified electrician who has over 14 years experience in Underground Coal Mining, a unique and demanding environment where safety of self and others is of the highest priority.
Understanding the weight of ministry, Brendan has a particular desire to come along side pastors and counsel, encourage and support them in their calling. He also loves to help leaders get ‘unstuck’ and continue their formation.
With over two decades of experience in helping people in their walk with Christ, Brendan is passionate about holding space for people as a spiritual director, asking questions and gentling guiding them in their journey of faith.
